KATIE COLLINS
Katie, a multi-generational Texan, is a TCU graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design. She started her design career with Sue Wade and Associates in Dallas and further developed her style and skills at the international hospitality firm Wilson & Associates.
During her tenure at Wilson, Katie worked on diverse projects in Mauritius, Costa Rica, Mexico, El Salvador as well as throughout the United States.
MARTHA SWEEZEY
Martha graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Arts in Art History. She went on to study as a graduate student at The University of North Texas in the Interior Design Department.
She began her career as an assistant to Marguerite Green and then ABV Interiors. In 1984, Martha joined Wilson and Associates working on the design of projects across the world such as Claridges, London, The Old Course Hotel in St. Andrews, Scotland; The Ritz Carlton Huntington Hotel in Pasadena, The Royal Park Hotel Nikko in Yokohama, The Monteleone Hotel in New Orleans, and has continued to work on several projects in the United Arab Emirates.
THE DESIGN FIRM
It was while working at Wilson and Associates that Katie and Martha met.They began their partnership,which was formed in 2003, with the goal of broadening their focus to include both residential and hospitallity design.
Their shared design aesthetic reflects their ability to create and redefine spaces,bringing an imprimatur of refinement. Their use of unusual combinations and blending of styles brings diversity to their design,resulting in distinctive spaces with sophistication and warmth.
They have been featured in publications including :Southern Living, DHome and House Beautiful as well as being named DHome Best Designers.
They have worked on projects in Dallas and Houston, Martha's Vineyard, Indian Wells, Caifornia; Hamilton,Montana; Santa Fe,New Orleans and the United Arab Emirates.
